
Nominations are open for the following awards:
BREAKTHROUGH, CHANGE MAKER, GIVING SPIRIT, GLOBAL BUSINESS, PINNACLE, RED-TAPE BUSTER, SDG'S CHAMPION, UP-AND-COMING, WARRIOR, & WORDS OF WISDOM
The event will be held during the 63rd session of The Commission on the Status of Women (CSW63) in New York March 2019. We will be recognizing CHANGE CHAMPIONS OF CHANGE involved with CSW63's priority theme of Social protection systems, access to public services and sustainable infrastructure for gender equality and the empowerment of women and girls. UP-AND-COMING – An emerging and promising female business owner who has owned her business for 5 years or less and supports other women enterprises.
BREAKTHROUGH – A business owner, organization, or high-level executive who has overcome obstacles or removed obstacles for women and/or girls
WORDS OF WISDOM – A person who has been instrumental in educating and mentoring individuals toward achieving women’s empowerment with collaborations.
RED-TAPE – A person, organization or high-level executive involved in government that has consistently demonstrated commitment to help small businesses.
GIVING SPIRIT – A business owner, organization, or high-level executive who has demonstrated commitment to community development through volunteerism and/or philanthropy.
SDG’s CHAMPION – An entity, high-level executive or government official that hat has promoted and facilitated some or all Sustainable Development Goals.
CHANGE MAKER – An entity or individual who has facilitated significant social protection systems, or provided access to public services, or created sustainable infrastructure for gender equality and/or empowerment of women and girls
WARRIOR – A small business owner or organization who has preserved through challenges that impact women and girls.
GLOBAL BUSINESS AWARD – A business owner or organization who has been transacting business across borders.
PINNACLE – An entity, individual, or high-level executive that has been created partnerships for gender equality and the empowerment of women and girls for 20 years or more.
ALL AWARDEES MUST BE PRESENT TO ACCEPT THEIR AWARD
